I attended the 25th United Nations Conference on Climate Change (COP25) in Madrid, Spain. This time, I made a statement on the progress of Thailand in reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 14%—twice our set target. We also strengthened our efforts by drafting the country's first climate change law and developing a long-term strategy for reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Additionally, we increased the Environmental Fund’s role in financially supporting local administrative organizations and the private sector to create climate change projects.
